Meet Dr. Moorea Blythe

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PsyD, PMH-C) specializing in perinatal and early childhood mental health. I work with individuals, caregivers, and young children during some of life's most meaningful and vulnerable transitions—from fertility challenges and pregnancy loss to pregnancy, postpartum, infant mental health, and early childhood development.

My clinical experience spans hospitals, interdisciplinary medical settings, community mental health, and private practice throughout Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area. These experiences have shaped a collaborative, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed approach to care that values each individual's unique strengths, experiences, and goals.

As a clinician, I strive to create a space where people feel safe, understood, and empowered. I recognize that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I believe that meaningful therapeutic change begins with a trusting relationship. Together, we work to better understand challenges, build on existing strengths, and develop practical, lasting strategies that support growth and healing.

In addition to providing therapy, I offer consultation to healthcare professionals and organizations seeking support in perinatal and early childhood mental health, interdisciplinary collaboration, and program development.

Whether you are preparing to become a parent, navigating the complexities of early childhood, supporting a young child's emotional development, or seeking professional consultation, I would be honored to partner with you.
